3D Animation
Welcome, my name is Samuel Lauko, I am the designer of Kobaltsky sculptures. Since each of our statues starts with a design processed in a 3D program, we are also dedicated to the pure creation of 3D animations, virtual environments, or promo videos. We work with Unreal Engine and Blender. If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact us!
But the next few words will be a bit personal. Since movies and the genre of science fiction is my passion, I decided on my own initiative to embark on a project of a short animated series told in the form of individual stories. From what I will reveal so far is that some of it will take place in Europe, something will take place off-planet. It's going to be wild (at least for me). I'm preparing the first previews so I can share my vision with you.
Sci-Fi Chernobyl Duga Radar
But what I want to show you now is an animation I made separately from the story. It's a technical preview of the visual I'd like to go with. In the video below, I tried to replicate shooting with a mobile phone on social media. The scene is inspired by the Duga radar over-the-horizon system located near Chernobyl in present-day Ukraine. It was created as part of an early warning system for missile defense. The Duga system was extremely powerful, measuring approximately 700 meters (2,300 ft) in length and reaching a height of 150 meters (490 ft).
Below I want to mention the talented people whose high-quality assets I used:
