KOBALTSKY
Forged in steel. Defined by precision.
The work begins in a small workshop in Slovakia, where material is not shaped for function, but explored for form. What started as a technical discipline evolved into a singular artistic direction — one defined by control, resistance, and exact execution.
Pavel Kováčik began working with metal at an early age. Over time, welding became more than a skill — it became a method of thinking. A process where structure and intuition meet, and where each decision is made directly in the material.
Rather than producing objects, Kobaltsky focuses on creating sculptural forms that hold presence. Stainless steel, typically associated with industry, is transformed into a medium of tension, movement, and clarity.
Each piece is designed with precision and brought to life through a physically demanding, uncompromising process. The result is a body of work that sits between engineering and art — defined not by decoration, but by structure.
Today, Kobaltsky operates internationally, with works placed in private collections and architectural environments across multiple markets.
